My latest work – a set of hand-made ‘plates for Ally Lee’s Firebird. I think they look pretty good, and so does he. These are in aluminium to echo the original ‘plates, with the KSVT lettering nestling amidst a slightly distressed sugar skulls and roses pattern. I have also included the original logo on the headstock, as a tribute to Raygun Relics.
Many apologies for not updating the site to say we are not attending the South of England Guitar Show today. This is due to unforeseen circumstances – we would love to be there, but just can’t make it.
You can still go and have fun without us!
Have just checked out our mention in 4.52am online mag from the lovely Mark Davidson (Jooky Guitars), both Custom Cool Etch and Bridge Street Guitars get glowing reviews!
Check out the latest in the mag here. It’s free and comes out at 4.52am every Sunday, and there are lots of interesting articles and reviews as well.
Mark is also the editor of Guitar Quarterly, you can find out more about this cool mag here:
We’ll be posting pics of our new full fascia ‘plate soon, and other lovely goodies that we couldn’t take to the show
I’ve been working on a series of Fern inspired patterns, and here’s the first ‘plate to feature one of the designs. It’s new owner is very happy (and I’m really pleased as well, looks great!).
When the build is finished I’m hoping to get a photo of the ‘plate in situ.
This design has been added to the T Style gallery page, but remember, you don’t have to have a Telecaster to own on of these lovelies. Have got lots of other shapes and sizes as well, just check out one of my finest – this SA2 ‘plate and headstock fascia. So curvy and gorgeous!
Here is a pic of the finished koi plate that we took to the Northern Guitar Show in March – it has had lots of admirers! The plate is different to what we would normally do, in that it is embossed in Pewter, filled and backed on nickel.
This particular plate is for display at present, but something similar could be done in Pewter or Copper. It perhaps wouldn’t be as hardwearing as our etched plates, but for a special project would look fantastic! Due to the amount of hours involved it wouldn’t be cheap either………..
Our Black Cherry Rose plate has gone off to Nashville, but don’t worry, you can have one just like it. See below:
Also, a note for your diaries – we are attending the South of England Guitar Show on 23rd October this year. This will be held at Kempton Park Racecourse, and if you are (or will be) in the area, we would love to see you. Lots of new things, guitar pick jewellery, and new builds from Bridge Street Guitars.
